Two basic categories of fantastic creatures exist in Elfworld. Those creatures that have been created and those that have been summoned. Very few of either type have been useful and non-threatening enough to have in quantity. Many exist as one of the kind creatures that have managed a life alone.Most nations actively discourage mages from creating or summoning anything especially after the problems caused by the orcs. However, there are always mages that pursue their own agendas. The Grey Order also maintains their magical breeding programs to create new non-humans as they have for centuries.
