Scrat is a 4 foot iron golem commissioned to help with day to day operations. Scrat is fully capable of tending to the housework, caring for the master's pets, driving a wagon, or assisting with the gathering of ingredients. As an NPC, Scrat might be the interface the PCs have with a more powerful mage. As a PC, Scrat will either by accompanied with his master or on a detached duty to assist the party.

Designer Notes - Scrat is a specialty character with a profile created especially for him though it could be used to create other golems. Because golems are not really intended to be characters and are much too expensive to be common, I did not create this as a generic racial template.
